- Answer This product like most chromebooks has the memory and storage soldered or embedded in the system board. There is no internal upgradeability.

As a college student, it is possible that you will need specific software on your computer that is not Chromebook compatible. Check with your college or other students to confirm that there aren't specific needs that this Chromebook can't meet.

- Answer You could add a NFC (near field communication) device to this laptop. I am not sure what emb and odt are - they sound like file extensions. This unit has a built in touchscreen. A 2 in one device can be used as a tablet as well as a laptop. This model the HP 15-DE0523DX is not a 2 in one.

- Answer Yes, I am currently dealing with the same thing. Opened the box today and no touch screen. So frustrating when I had to wait for two weeks for the machine to be shipped to my store. My kid needs to be doing his distance learning!

- Answer Chrome OS can only run two monitors, with one being the internal display. The only built in port that could support an external monitor is the USB-C port. You would need a USB-C to the correct monitor port adapter and then a cable.
