“Two previous questions were regarding how is the ram configured? One verified purchaser said 1-16 gb slot and 1 slot left. HP reply said 2x8 gb . Which is correct? May consider adding more ram and need to know so I can order correctly .”

Hate to muddy the waters, but my research indicates that the laptop comes with 2x8GB RAM sticks, which can be upgraded to a total of 64GB (e.g., 2x32GB). Note that this is NOT from the HP website, which is pretty useless unless you have a serial number,
