“Does the power brick support both 110/120 60 cycles and 220 50 cycles? I sometimes do international travel to Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. I am aware that a plug adapter can be used as the power brick should then adapt to the different voltage/cycles.”

Hello,HP and Compaq power adapters are setup for World Wide voltage and frequency specs. They do no require any power conversion. Plugging our adapters into any sort of power converter may cause the adapter to malfunction. The only adapter needed to use our AC adapter in a foreign country is a plug adapter to make the plug fit the wall receptacle.Thank you for being an HP customer!
