• Yes! I mostly use it for that. If you make the pointer a little larger (easy) it will be great. There are a lot of videos on making adjustments to suit your needs. This is my first laptop and i love it.

• Yes, so long as you don't have too many programs or browser tabs running simultaneously (like in the neighborhood of 25 or so).
