• This laptop has no place for a disk. Unless using external disk? Need to download TurboTax software from Internet. Otherwise, sufficient for that.

• Thank you for the question. This model will work for your described needs, however, it does not have an optical (CD/DVD) drive. (Most modern laptop designs no longer feature CD/DVD drives).
