No, but they always suggest them. If I'm not mistaken, Windows 11 has built in anti virus software. I'm a MAC person so not positive but think I read that somewhere.

I just wanted to add that while the programs you intentionally run may not be dangerous, the programs you UNINTENTIONALLY run may be. This would include any email you open, as well as any website you visit, that you shouldn't. So if you are absolutely sure that you are perfect and never may a mistake, you are PROBABLY FINE.
