Is this a good pc for 9yr old gamer? Like sims etc null

Thank you for your question about this HP laptop! It is good for games such as Minecraft and Roblox. For games like the Sims, they would require a dedicated graphics card. HP offers the Victus gaming laptops in Best Buy stores. These are gaming laptops that are affordable and will play the more graphics-intensive games like The Sims 4.

Always check the game's website for hardware specs. Always. Your way is backwards.

Out of the box, probably not really. But for a few bucks more you can make a couple minor tweaks and it will be great for that. The main tweak being to add at least another 8GB of RAM. Not very expensive and takes only a few minutes to do.
