• There are easy to follow instructions on how to remove s mode but it does void some of the warranty. Also connects easily to home wifi.

• Thank you for the question. Directions for switching out of S Mode are at Microsoft.com. Note that this is a one-way switch, not reversible. Yes, connecting to your router is very simple.
