“I can't install software outside of Microsoft. It shows an error. Also, the apps and feature menu is missing. Did anybody face this issue?”

• that is due to the s-mode that requires you to opt out of s-mode inorder to run any apps from the Play Store that are not Microsoft approved, i.e ZOOM, Chrome, etc.

• Thank you for the question. The HP 15-dy4013dx has Windows 11 Home in S Mode, which means that you must use the Edge browser, and all downloads must be from the Microsoft store. If you wish to download apps from other origins, or use a different browser, you can convert the system out of S Mode. This is a free and easy operation, but it is not reversible.

• It is possible that you are still in "S" mode. Try searching Google to learn how to exit "S" mode.

• That is because it is Windows 11 0S. You can remove the windows OS if you want to install other apps.
