I am thinking of getting this for my son. He would use if for Steam Online gaming as well for school work. I have noticed that it can run Steam but would have to disable S mode and that is irreverseable, is this correct? How would he go about that? null

On your PC running Windows 11 in S mode, open Settings > System > Activation. On the Switch out of S mode (or similar) page that appears in the Microsoft Store, select the Get button. After you see a confirmation message on the page, you'll be able to install apps from outside of the Microsoft Store. Once removed, you will not be able to restore S Mode.

Disabling S mode is not reversible. The steps are pretty easy and he can find them in Google or his search engine of choice.
