    • Answer I don't have any way to measure decibels, but it has been loud enough for my usage. My kids are in the next room watching TV and I am listening to a podcast with no issues right now. The speakers on my old laptop are so quiet that the only way I could do that is in a silent room or wear headphones.

    • Answer If you have a bootable USB thumb drive with the version of Linux you want to install, then you just need to boot to that USB drive and follow the prompts. To find out how to boot with a USB thumb drive I would suggest searching YouTube for decent instructions.

    • Answer This model does not support WiFi 6. It supports up to 802.11 AC, which is WiFi 5. But the laptop will still work with a WiFi 6 router as they are backward compatible.

    • Answer I can’t say for certain, but I recently read a review from one cad type user and he stated it was the “best he ever owned” thus far… look it up on Best Buy feedback… I try to do my research, only thing I really missed was 11s startup without getting MicroSoft account. Before start up see UTbe on bypassing Micro account. Windows 11 is their spy program, it will give them every keystroke, anything you do they can get access too. Best to use Business mode too… But it can be circumvented for now any way… it’s all on UTube with the techs.

    • Answer Best Buy has a suitable Leveno, maybe Hp, on sale for $349, $150 saving… maybe for your needs… if price is the main factor, you’ll have to install your own or buy the software you need… should do everything you need. Hope this helped. I upgraded to touch screen and more speed for $80 more… less memory but definite a nice deal i5-dy…. Still not supplied with your software. Check out UTube before starting widows 11… on any new Lap top. The Windows 11 is nice, but you need to investigate some. Even in Business Mode they have access to every key stroke and app if you sign on to a MicroSoft account when starting up… seriously,

    • Answer About 3.5 lbs. dimensions less than 15” wide… very thin. Terrible printing on the keys. Near impossible to see in low-med. light… I had to up grade with a sticker kit.

    • Answer When you use your laptop, plug charge when you have 20% battery. And when you’re on 100% unplugg charger. I would not recommend leave the charger plug in, when you’re not using your laptop. Like all night or all day. This little is what I do with phones and all, helps to improve battery life all.

    • Answer Windows defender does a decent job even when you go out of S Mode. With that said, almost every virus protection program out there has pros and cons. I would suggest doing some research into the different programs and look at what your needs are to determine if you need to buy something. Example: you only visit a handful of trusted websites that you download from. You are probably fine with Windows defender. Example 2: you are downloading all kinds of things from random websites and users, you probably need to upgrade to something else. No program is perfect and a new virus or malware can always slip through the cracks.
