QuestionShould the bottom get hot

- Answer It's going to depend on what the laptop is resting on (a soft surface will restrict airflow and cause heat build-up) and how hot you consider "hot". If you feel like it's hotter than it should be and it's not sitting on a hot surface, you'll want to contact the HP Support team so they can run through some tests with you to determine if it's an unreasonable amount of heat.

QuestionIs the battery changeable if it goes bad? I don't see a replaceable battery compartment and what do you do if it does?

- Answer Whether it's chargable or not is going to depend on what caused the battery to "go bad". If it's completely discharged, it should be recharable, but if it's a mechanical problem with the battery, it may not be charageable. The battery is replaceable, but it's been a quite a while since I've seen a laptop with a battery that can be removed from outside. A trained tech will be able to replace the battery for you.

QuestionWhat kind of docking station would be compatible with this laptop? Is there a docking station that can be used with just a single stroke instead of connecting the power and usb for the rest?

- Answer Because the USB-C port on the computer does not support Power Delivery or DisplayPort throughput, you'll need a separate power connection and video conneciton. With that said, any docking station with a USB-C connector will work.

- Answer Thank you for the question. There is no additional SSD slot. You have a few alternatives for increasing storage: use an SD card (this laptop has a multi-format SD media card reader), attach a flash drive or other external drive via USB, or save files to the cloud. You could also switch out the existing 256GB drive for one of more capacity; we recommend that this be done by a professional technician.

- Answer The computer has only one video output (an HDMI) but if you get a splitter or daisy chain the monitors, it should work just fine.
