This laptop comes with the Realtek RTL8723DE 802.11b/g/n (1x1), which is an older wireless standard. You could try an USB wireless adapter with a newer wireless standard like https://www.bestbuy.com/site/netgear-nighthawk-ac1900-dual-band-wifi-usb-3-0-adapter-black/6059000.p?skuId=6059000 Anything that is an AC1750 or better would be a definite upgrade to what is in the laptop now. It will also depend on the distance you are from the network. If you need further assistance, I would recommend reaching out to a blue shirt in the computer department at Best Buy.
