what is "S" mode null

When in S mode, the user is unable to download anything from the web unless it is downloaded from the Microsoft store, which very much limits what one can download, but also limits the possibility of a virus. To disable it, the user must open the Microsoft store and search for S mode to find the option to switch out of it. To obtain anything from the Microsoft store, the user is forced to login to their Microsoft account, or create a new one(which is free) if they did not already have one.

This laptop comes in Windows 10 S Mode, which means you can only download apps from the Microsoft store or use Microsoft Edge browser.
