• A:Answer Well that was my concern as well. No use having an I7 if you are reading from disk all the time. It might be faster if you have only one app only and a small project. Otherwise I would choose RAM over CPU, consider the disk is at least 1000 times slower, basically your I7 would be waiting for data all the time.

Q: QuestionCan this laptop run 60 frames on video games?

• A:Answer On the original DOOM maybe. This will probably run Skyrim on the lowest possible settings at around 30 fps. On newer games such as Farcry 4, the frame rates will likely be less than 10 fps on lowest settings, rendering them unplayable. If you want a gaming laptop that will run 60 fps on even low to mid settings it will cost you around $1000, and it will have to have a discrete graphics card.

• A:Answer Unfortunately, that is not possible. Motherboards in laptops, except in the same range, are not interchangeable. This is because there is no such thing as a standard form factor for laptops. Also, the port layout (USB, VGA/DVI/HDMI, LAN, Memory card, eSATA, etc...) changes between laptop ranges, not just over time. They are all proprietary, each motherboard with it's port layout is designed and matched to a corresponding case and then sold as such. I hope this helps.

• A:Answer The Windows 10 is ALOT Like the Windows 7--You don't have to learn all the Windows 8 or Windows 8.1--you can skip all over that mess! The Control Panel is easier to find and use and once you download the Office applications you have, you are in business! If you have already purchased the Windows 7 Office (Word, Excel, etc.) you can go to the windows site, download the application, then enter your Key (on the outside of our Box or CD. If you have problems afterwards, you can go to MS.com, go to chat and type in what you are doing and they will happily help you along!
