As others have answered, a password can be used for accessing functions as well as a PIN. As for upgrading to Windows 11 Pro: the only difference between Home and Pro is that Pro has certain, extra features, like BitLocker and the ability to connect to a domain; these extra features do not place a greater demand on the OS or operation. However, as with most things, while 8GB of RAM is sufficient for operation, 16GB or more is recommended, especially for business, where you might need to switch between applications quickly and without any hindrance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have used those kind of passwords no problem. I also switched the computer out of windows “s” mode into regular 11. I can’t say for sure about 11 pro. My concern with pro is that with 8 gigs of ram you might have problems (probably not) but I’d bet you could do a google search about running pro with 8 gigs of ram, and find out.
