Mac, thank you for your question about this HP laptop! It comes with Microsoft Windows preinstalled. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are not a part of Windows and would need to be purchased separately either as Microsoft Office or part of the Microsoft 365 subscription service.

Some manufacturers include a 30-day free trial copy of Microsoft 365 (formerly called .Office 365). If not, you can download it from the MS website. Other options are: one of the numerous subscriptions, free (limited) use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint through the browser, buy a copy, get one of the similar, free suites, like Kingsoft. BB also sometimes offers a discounted version.
