RAM can be upgraded to 64GB (32x2) and the computer accepts both M.2 and SSD drives up to 4TB. YouTube is a good source for videos showing the process, so you can judge for yourself whether it's within your wheelhouse as far as technical know how, care and patience, or you need to have a technician do it.
