It would depend on the type of programs you would need to run in order to do so and your internet if you need to constantly be online. What you would want to check is the developer's site for system requirements for any program you wish to use. The other thing you would want to look into is seeing what sort of speeds you get from your at home internet service provider. You can ask Best Buy about an at home setup and they can send someone to your house to give suggestions to improve your home setup and even sell items which some they may have on them, and others would have to be shipped.
