This is going to be based more on opinion than anything else. Many of the preinstalled apps have various uses and can be helpful for when you are trying to use the laptop. Geek Squad does offer a service and can help you remove any of the apps you do not want and make sure that you are not removing any of the apps that you need to run the machine. You can also contact HP Support if you have questions about any of the software that is preinstalled.
