• The AMD Ryzen 5 processor should be fine for your work but check with the IT people at your work to be sure.

• AMD and Intel CPUs are both fully IBM PC compatible. What Operating System is used at work? You should ask your tech support (IT) department what is the minimum and the recommended specifications (specs) of the hardware and software needed to perform the work. While some IT may have biases toward AMD or Intel the truth is either of them will likely do the trick. AMD provides better bang for about one-half the buck compared to Intel CPUs.
