I read earlier the only thing lights up is the Cap button

According to the specs and user reviews this does not have a backlit keyboard. Instead it has typical indicator lights for Power Caps Lock, Mute buttons. The claim that the keyboard is backlit is an illegal false advertisement. I hope that helps, FunFractals
