Then use a plastic spudger to gently separate the palm rest and keyboard assembly. The spudger will separate the plastic without damaging it or leaving marks like a metal screwdriver would. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spudger) Once you've done that you can upgrade the RAM in the slot(s) on the motherboard. The computer uses DDR4 laptop RAM.
