“I cannot download Norton antivirus on this? Why, says “operating system not supported””

• In order to be able to download anything like Norton, you need to switch this HP 17-BY3613DX laptop out of the Windows 10 in S Mode. It is free and easy to do. Here is how: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4456067/windows-10-switch-out-of-s-mode After you switch out of the S Mode, then you can download the Norton anti-virus.

• This was my biggest frustration, but all you have to do is get rid of S-Mode before it will let you load it. It requires an app to take it off, but Norton support will help you take it off...they were extremely helpful in making it easy. You will probably need to take it off to load other programs as well.
