This includes Wi-Fi 802.11n, with b/g/n support. Does not include support for ac, or a. I suspect this supports only 2.4GHz band, single band only; since specs do not include "a" which requires 5GHz band, so likely does not support 5GHz; I have not confirmed this for sure. Can HP rep/expert confirm the full specs & capability of the WI-FI in this? & What upgrade options are available (external & internal)? I don't know why someone answered yes. It maybe because question asked if capable. To support Wi-Fi ac, would need to add or upgrade. Like external adapter (USB, etc.). Or internal card replacement, assuming this has a slot for it (I have not looked up or confirmed this).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only 2.4 GHz WiFi. This is a little odd in a modern laptop. If it's really a problem, there are USB WiFi dongles that would work, and some of them are small enough not to be obtrusive. I immediately removed Windows and installed Debian Linux 9.1 . It works excellently. I have separate laptops for each customer in work where confidentiality is critical, and did not need super graphics. Speed and storage are fine.
