Hi Johny. Yes the Ram can be expanded from 8GB to 16GB. The existing memory is 8 GB DDR4-2400 MHz RAM (2 x 4 GB). The two 4GB modules would need to be removed and replaced by 2ea. 8GB modules. There is significant disassembly involved, so if you are not familiar with working on laptop PC's I suggest you consult the Geek Squad to upgrade the memory. Yes the laptop has a built-in webcam and microphone.
