A:Answer I realize everyone has different needs but for my use, I switched to Chromebooks about 8 yrs ago and never looked back. The insane prices of desktops/laptops and have quickly they break down and/or become outdated. No way would I go back. You don't have a drive to play cd/dvd's so what.. on the rare occas I need it, i use a thumb drive. Storage is done on a cloud. Easy access on all your Chromebooks, simply set it up so when you sign in on each CB, it's all there. Most apps you need you can find via Google play store or thru extensions. From comments I've read thru the years it's not good for extreme gamers or some programs you may need for work (but) it appears there's alternatives via Google store for most MS programs. I've had 3 previous Acers I loved, this is my 1st HP. btw, I still use my previous CB's. 3 of 4 still work quite well.
I use mine for surfing, photo editing, blogging, gif making, banking, chat, email, paying bills.. watching tv, movies, videos, youtube, listening to podcasts.. pretty much anything else the general public needs a pc for.
