“When I connect this monitor to the iPad via lightening to HDMI, the display works but the sound goes away. There is no sound. Please help.”

• This monitor does not have speakers for sound. You may want to use a Bluetooth speaker or headphones with the iPad to get sound when connected to the iPad.
