You will want to look up the minimum system requirements for each game on the developer's website. Updates can change the computers ability to run an application or a game. Even if that game is mostly just through streaming. If it just meets the minimum requirements, it will be able to run on the lowest settings to play stable, but might not be what you are looking for and an update could change those requirements and cause it to stop working on the device altogether.
