Buy a better quality HDMI cable, first one was cheap and still worked good, Had to buy another one since i purchase a different computer and the old cable wouldn't fit/work on the new computer. Both my cables worked on this monitor with no problem. Look up installation on You Tube, and see if they have a solution. I can only come up with you either hooked it up wrong, or a cheap HDMI cable....hope this helps.
