“How do you un clip the base? Is it possible to do and use with an adapter mount?”

• The monitor actually ships with the base as a separate part in the box, so if you haven't put the base in, you can just not install it. If the base is already attached, you should be able to just pull it loose. Because the monitor does not have standard VESA mounting points on the back, any adapter mount that you want to use will need to have some way of holding the monitor securely.
