“Is there a peel-off screen protector on the screen when you take it out of the package? It looks like there might be, but I don't want to try to peel something that might not be there and ruin the screeen.”

I don’t remember having any kind of peel off screen protector on mine. Each monitor was wrapped in styrofoam to avoid the need for the peel off option.
