“No sound is produced. The message says "input signal not found check the video cable and video source". I see the connection on the computer but where is it on the monitor? I have checked the back, sides, bottom, but found no place to connect to.”

On the back of the monitor, you'll notice an area that runs across the back in the center that's thicker than the rest of the monitor. The video input ports are on the very bottom of that. If you feel the bottom of that area on the monitor, you'll find them.
