Correction on my earlier answer. I thought the HP IPS 23" and the 25" monitors had the same finish. But after exchanging the 23 for the 25 because it was better sized for my desk, I realized the 25 has a glossier display. If you're looking for an anti-glare, matte finish, the 25 isn't for you.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this monitor in a front kitchen with lots of windows; the glare is minimal. My kids play PC games, watch Netflix, HULU, YouTube, etc. on this monitor with no issues. Actually, my teenagers prefer this monitor over our old Westinghouse by leaps and bounds.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not certain if it provides an anti-glare or glossy finish. However, I don't have any problems with the screen projecting a glare or being too glossy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't see a glare on this screen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Very little glare, but I use it in a darkish room. Finish isn't "glossy" and very little shows on the face. just a bit at the bottom.
