If you go into settings, then Image Control, then Response Time, you can change the speed between "Level 1 - Level 5" I'll admit, it's weird that they label it as Levels. lol but you are onto something with stating that your GPU doesnt support it. Even if the monitor's Level 5 speed IS 144hz, it wont increase the refresh rate of the visuals your GPU is sending to it.
