You can use an HDMI or VGA cable. It has two HDMI ports and comes with one 5 foot HDMI cable in the box.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Connect an HDMI cord from the monitor to an HDMI port on your laptop if you have one. If you only have a DP (display port) then you'll need to get a DP to HDMI adapter which is available online.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Some Windows laptops have a regular HDMI port like you might find on a TV. If that's the case, you can use the included HDMI cable to connect your laptop to this monitor. If your computer has an older VGA port, you would need to buy an inexpensive VGA cable to connect to the monitor. If your laptop doesn't have an HDMI or VGA port, then you'll likely need an adapter. You could call/chat/email your computer's manufacturer and ask what you would need to connect your laptop to an HDMI monitor.
