Q: QuestionCan you control the brightness from an attached HP laptop? If not, how hard is it to change the brightness from the controls on the monitor itself?

• A:Answer You can adjust the brightness very easy. On the monitor itself the buttons on the lower right there is a management button that allows you to adjust the brightness as well as several other adjustments. I purchased 2 of these monitors and could not be happier with them. Highly recommended.

• A:Answer The display is Glossy. Some people do not like glossy in a bright area and that is cool. I have placed mine in a semi dark room and these monitors are awesome.

• A:Answer Yes, the monitor has speakers built in but I would not call them quality speakers. If you're wanting to listen to music or video you'd be better off purchasing a set of speakers.
