“Why is the mouse bouncing around at will even when not in use, opening web pages etc, and also bouncing around when in use making the computer unusable?”

• This same thing happened with a new computer that we bought several months ago. The problem turned out to be a florescent reading lamp that was too close to the computer. When the reading lamp was moved a couple of feet away, the mouse bouncing problem went away. I hope this helps.
