Hello. Thanks for your question. You would gently pull up the camera to unlock it by using the grips on the back of the camera. When the camera is not in use, you can close the camera by pressing down on it until it clicks into the closed position.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don't you just pop it up with your fingers (it's stashed away in the center of the top of the computer - you have to pop it up) and then just click on the camera icon at the bottom of the screen?
