• I use it for my MacBook pro 15" and its great. I would buy for My iMac but I don't use it much already. Should be a good match though

• I connected it to my iMac2013 using a Belkin display port to HDMI adapter (also purchased at BestBuy) and it worked fine.

• Hi. I was curious about the same thing. I just purchased this monitor for my 2011 iMac 27" and purchased the 27" version and I'm highly impressed with the outcome. If you look at my review, I even posted a pic and installation was quick and simple.
