• It should work with your laptop. It is HDMI capatable. May pull wear out your graphica card and processor quickly if you dont get the correct drivers.

• Not sure I would get this monitor for hardcore gaming. The graphics are pretty good but I don't think your gonna get the HD pixels you really want. The screen seems a bit hazy. May be to diffuse sunlight or harsh lit environments. Not sure you'll get the full 3860 potential in these but hey, if you don't like it you can always return! I'd say try it out and see.
