• You will need an adapter. USB C to HDMI, then you can.

• You would have to look at the ports on the back of your laptop. Most laptops are converting to HDMI slots on them. These monitors have one of them on the back. So you SHOULD be ok. If your laptop also has a blue pinned VGA port, you would be able to use that one as well. I don't think the quality would be as crisp using the VGA vs HDMI. I would do HDMI (cable included) first. Note: Your laptop has a 4k display. So the quality of any monitor you purchase wont be as great, unless it's a 4k monitor.
