I think you are more worried about the refresh rate. The FPS is more throttled by the output of your GPU. If you have a low grade GPU and a high refresh rate on the monitor, than the monitor will only be so good.. If you have a gaming or high quality GPU, than you need to compare the refresh rate of the monitor to the FPS your GPU can output. In this case the refresh rate is 60hz on this monitor. That's kind of a low end refresh rate. If you wanted a higher rate to go with a better GPU. I would suggest a 240hz. Also I think that HDMI connections are limited to 60hz if im not mistaken. You would need a DVI connection in order to get the higher rate. You could use a VGA cable on these, and attach a DVI connector to it. But you would still be limited to the 60hz rate. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The panel is 60Hz IPS LCD so 60 frames per second. Maximum 1080P resolution and honestly you don't want to run this one under the native resolution (1080). Hope this helps.
