A:AnswerYou're going to need a cable that outputs HDMI or Displayport. If your laptop has a regular HDMI port then you just need an HDMI cable. If your laptop outputs video over USB-C you'll need a cable that goes from USB-C to HDMI, or otherwise get an adapter. Similar for using Displaylink from a regular USB port.
A:AnswerHello, Zachary. Thanks for your question. You will need an adapter to the HDMI port or the DisplayPort on this HP monitor. The DisplayPort cable is included with this monitor. This website will help you find the right adapter for your MacBook: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201736
A:AnswerIt *should*. Like all adapters, make sure you are connecting it to the video out side of the equation, not to the video in on the monitor. The splitter wont work with any monitor like that.
