“Will the 564xl photo black cartridge work in my HP Photosmart 6515 printer I bought the 564xl combo pack and tried to replace the black cartridge and it is not fitting. I noticed that the cartridge is narrorer than the set up cartridge.”

I'd be willing to bet the issue is that you have the photo and need the black, or visa versa and are putting it in the wrong spot. This printer uses both a black and a photo printer, they're not the same size, so maybe you thought you needed black and got phone instead, or visa versa.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you read the fine print on the back of the 564-XL, it states that it is for printers with 5 cartridge slots. Three for color and two blacks. My printer is an HP Photsmart 7520 and I use a 564 Black in the wider slot and a 564-XL in the narrow slot. Don't know the reason for this, but I hope this info helps you.
