Just like anything else...name brand is always more expensive than knock-offs. More importantly though, printer manufacturers make their money from selling ink...not printers.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I tried this by buying cheap cartridges on Ebay and i was totally disappointed... They would last maybe 50 pages or dry up in no time.... just spend the extra couple of dollars and get OEM HP ink on this one...Trust me

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The off brands still work but you will not get the full use out of an off brand that you would from a registered product. Example: You should get x amount of pages from an HP product, but only 80% of that from an off brand.
