Due to differences in country and environmental laws, Hewlett-Packard printers are “zoned” to accept only ink cartridges sold in certain countries. Ink cartridges purchased from a country in the same “zone” as the country you originally purchased the printer are compatible. Ink and toner cartridges purchased from countries in other “zones” will not work. If your country designates the 121 HP cartridge for your pritner the HP 60 will not work unless technical support determines that your pritner can be “re-zoned” to accept ink cartridges from other countries.
