• A HP Deskjet 4500 series and Envy 4500 series do not use the same ink cartridges, i.e. "61" cartridges are not compatible with F4500 series.

• I use the HP 60 for my HP deskjet F4280. I just look at the box for that cartridge and it does not show F4500 on it.
