I don't think so but it should tell you on the box. My better half says no mixing and matching. Use the number called for.

I don't see HP Office Desk Jet 4650 listed on the packaging for the HP 61 cartridges. If HP is listing a specific cartridge, that is the one I would use. The cartridges are manufactured especially for the requirements of the specific printer.

my printer tells me automatically it's the wrong ink for this printer--I suspect yours will do the same.

You cannot use HP 61 cartridges with this printer. It will damage the printer completely. You must always use the correct ink with printers. I hope this helps.
