“If the tri color cartridge is out of ink will the printer still print in black or will it stop all printing until the empty cartridge is replaced? Also does this printer use ink to maintain its print head?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you are out of tri color and have black ink yes you can print with black ink without the tri color. Before printing you need to go to print setting and find the tab to change the color to black. Hope it answer your question.
